Cliquez ici pour en savoir plus !Are all manufacturers load cells the same? If they are not, what is the difference between a Hardy Load Sensor and any other manufacturers load cell, other than Hardy has C2® second generation capabilities?
Hardy Process Solutions load sensors use the finest manufacturing processes. Our load sensors are analog devices and will work with any Hardy weight controller. Some of our weight controllers will work with digital load cells, and will work with any manufacturers analog load cells rated from 0.9mV/V to 3 mV/V for full range operation. If your load cell is above 3 mV/V it will work with Hardy weight controllers as our HI 6300 series up to 5mV/V and HI 3030 with an input range up to 120 mv. The way to determine the output from your load cell is to multiply the Excitation Voltage by the mV/V rating, for example a 3 mV/V rated load cell with 5vdc Excitation will provide an output of 0-15mv.
We thoroughly test every Hardy load sensor and program that test information inside a storage chip attached to the load sensor. That data is utilized during our C2® calibration process to provide an easy and accurate calibration for your weighing system.
All load cells are NOT the same, and understanding the differences will help you make an informed purchasing decision. You will find an article attached for additional information.
